Yerevan, Armenia – March 7, 2025 – The Armenian National Platform (ANP) of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) successfully concluded its conference on Armenia’s accession to the European Union.
The conference, which brought together representatives from civil society organizations and experts, facilitated in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities associated with Armenia’s path towards EU integration. Participants engaged in productive dialogues across five key thematic areas: Democracy, Human Rights, Security, Good Governance and Stability; Economic Integration and Approximation with EU Economic Policy; Environment, Climate Change and Energy Security; People-to-People Contacts; and Social Dialogue, Social and Labor Policy.
The conference featured presentations by leading experts on each of the five thematic areas, followed by in-depth discussions among participants. The participants also developed specific recommendations for the Armenian government to advance EU integration.
“We are pleased with the level of engagement and the constructive dialogue that took place during the conference,” said Edgar Khachatryan, CSF Armenia Country Facilitator, Director, Peace Dialogue NGO. “The insights and recommendations generated will serve as a valuable resource for the Armenian government as it navigates the EU accession process.”
